Tervetuloa FINTERDIS - Suomen Tieteidenvälisen Seuran verkkosivuille! 

Olemme 4. lokakuuta 2018 perustettu akateeminen yhteisö, jonka tarkoituksena on tukea tieteidenvälisen tutkimuksen ja opetuksen toteutusta Suomessa ja kansainvälisesti. FINTERDIS pyrkii edesauttamaan erityisesti varhaisen uravaiheen (alle dosenttitason) tutkijoiden ja opiskelijoiden pyrkimyksiä erilaisten alojen ja näkökulmien yhdistämiseksi tehden yhteistyötä tieteidenvälisesti suuntautuneiden kokeneempien tutkijoiden kanssa.  FINTERDIS on rekisteröity, itsenäinen yhdistys, jonka toiminta-alue kattaa koko Suomen. Pyrimme tekemään yhteistyötä mahdollisimman monien suomalaisten yliopistojen ja ammattikorkeakoulujen kanssa.

FINTERDISin tavoite on, että varhaisen vaiheen tutkijoilla ja opiskelijoilla olisi paremmat ja tasa-arvoisemmat edellytykset itsenäiseen luovaan ajatteluun ja oikeus ylittää rajoja radikaaleinkin perustein. FINTERDIS tekee eri maiden tieteidenvälisiä käytäntöjä tunnetuksi Suomessa ja päinvastoin sekä pyrkii edesauttamaan suomalaisten nuorten tutkijoiden verkostoitumista maailmalla.

Welcome to the website of FINTERDIS - Finnish Interdisciplinary Society

We are an academic community founded on October 4, 2018, with the purpose of supporting the implementation of interdisciplinary research and teaching in Finland and internationally. FINTERDIS aims to promote the efforts of early-career researchers and students (below the level of docent) to combine different fields and perspectives, collaborating with more experienced researchers with an interdisciplinary orientation. FINTERDIS is a registered, independent association whose area of ​​operation covers the whole of Finland. We strive to collaborate with as many Finnish universities and universities of applied sciences as possible.

FINTERDIS's goal is that early-career researchers and students should have better and more equal opportunities for independent creative thinking and the right to cross borders, even on radical grounds. FINTERDIS makes interdisciplinary practices from different countries known in Finland and vice versa, and aims to promote the networking of young Finnish researchers around the world.
